It was certainly a memorable night for Croxsons at the Surrey Business Awards at G Live in Guildford on 7 November. The company won the Large Business of the Year award – an outstanding achievement!
Organised by Platinum Media Group and hosted by comedian Suzi Ruffell, this year’s awards recognised outstanding achievements across 16 categories, celebrating everything from individual successes to impactful business contributions. With a record number of entries this year, the awards reflected the breadth of talent, innovation, and dedication among businesses across Surrey.
Maarten Hoffmann, Managing Director of Platinum Media Group, said: “The awards are an opportunity to celebrate Surrey’s vibrant business community and to recognise the achievements of those who go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service, results and products.
“This year, we received a record number of entries from all business sizes and sectors in the county, with the standard of applications being very high. I’d like to congratulate all the winners and shortlisted finalists.”
Being named Large Business of the Year is a testament to our commitment to delivering innovative packaging solutions and our strong dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. In announcing our success, judges highlighted our “all-round excellence, unrivalled integrity, clear vision, innovation and outstanding customer service”. As a fifth-generation family business with a future-focused approach, we continue to drive sustainability and excellence in packaging across various industries.
Commenting on the accolade, CEO Tim Croxson said: “This award is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire team. Being recognised among Surrey’s leading businesses not only inspires us to continue setting high standards in our industry, but it is also an achievement we share with our customers and supply partners who inspire us every day.”
Adding a charitable element to the evening, the event partnered with Sight For Surrey, a charity dedicated to supporting people who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted, or deaf-blind. Thanks to the generosity of attendees, the event raised £8,500 to help Sight For Surrey in its mission to improve lives across the region.
